Brand rules and components

Design-system instructions

Create or import written instructions or CSS through design systems, then connect the system to a project. These instructions guide future AI work; connecting a system does not silently restyle existing artboards.

Linked styles

Project styles can supply colours, font sizes and corner radii. Local overrides may differ from linked values. Review the affected layers when changing a shared token.

Reusable components

Select a group and choose Save as component. It appears under the project’s System → Components. Use Insert from a project to reuse a component, image or artboard from your account. Copies are independent; editing one does not automatically update every copy. Linked style values and required project fonts travel with the copy; external prototype targets are removed.

Reference versus target

A reference image explains a direction. A selected layer is an editable target. Brand instructions describe rules. Keep those roles clear when assembling a request.
